Viewed from the city of Bandung, the mountain Tangkuban parahu has a unique shape resembles an upturned boat (Sundanese: Tangkuban = inverted, parahu = Boat). Unique shape is believed to have links very closely with the legend Sangkuriang.

To get to these attractions, visitors can use a personal vehicle either 2 wheel or 4-wheel or public transport. The travel time to attractions Sari Ater, namely of Subang town takes about 40 minutes south of Bandung, while about 50 minutes and from Jakarta via toll Sadang with travel time approximately 3 hours while the hot water attractions with travel time Ciater 15 minutes.

Condition of roads to this area, both from Subang and Bandung is very good. But to note about the condition of the vehicle, due to the location of either of Subang and Bandung is going through a pretty severe incline. That's the thing that is also quite interesting, to be able to enjoy this attraction, especially the hard work you need your vehicle, because the place is in the mountains makes your vehicle work harder.
