Waigeo Island One of the Amazing Raja Ampat Island

Waigeo Island is an island in West Papua, Indonesia. The island is also known by the name or Waigiu amberi. Waigeo Island is the largest of the four main islands of Raja Ampat Islands. The island is located between the island of Halmahera and New Guinea with a distance of about 65 km northwest of the island of Papua.
Big island surrounding the island of Salawati, Batanta Island, and Island Misool.Luas island 3155 km ², with the highest point 1000 m. The distance between the west to east about 110 km, and north to south about 50 miles. Wasai city located in the western part of the island and is the capital of the Raja Ampat regency. Since 1997, the island has become a cultured pearl that is owned by Australian company Pacific Atlas.
